What Causes Lower Backache And Fainting After An Abortion?

Hi Dr please help me my younger sister(17years) committed an abortion two months ago. Now there are many complications, sometimes she faints, have a pelvic pain in her lower back. Around her vagina the skin is peeling. The private Dr we visited suspected an endometriosis and suggested that my sister must go for herestomy operation. We are worried at this age that she looses a womb but she cant bear these pains. Is there any other alternative that we can go for it? please help...

Hi,

Please take the opinion of an experienced and senior gynaecologist. Correct her hemoglobin levels and go for conservative management. Put her on good analgesics with anti-hemorrhagic drugs.

All these drugs require prescription. So, consult a senior and expert gynaecologist as early as possible. She will be alright soon.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Mohammed Abdullah

Hi,

Don't go for surgical management so early. Please check her hemoglobin levels and start on good antibiotic coverage. There should be complete abstinence from sex until she is alright.
