What Causes Low Amniotic Fluid During Pregnancy?

During ultra sound at 4 1/2 month pregnancy it is found that my wife has Low amniotic fluid . Is it dangerous , what precaution we take to cure it. Our gynec has suggested Torch Panel test and prescribed ARG Sachet and Delisprin. Kindly advise pls what to do....

Hello ma'am and welcome.

You first need to understand the various causes for a low measuring amniotic fluid level. They are: infections, fetal anomalies, intra-uterine growrh retardation, use of various medications, dehydration ,etc.

Your doctor is suspecting infections to be the cause, and it will certainly have to be ruled out at the earliest. There is nothing you need to do other than follow a healthy diet, youe doctor will have to do all the work in diagnosing and treating the cause. Stay well hydrated.
