What Causes Low BP With Feeling Of Heart Beat In Chest Cavity?
Hi, I m 34 and pretty much all my adult life I had a blood pressure in the range of 120/80. In the last few months it s been 112/87, 110/75 (and more in this range) and I have been feeling my heart beat in my chest cavity (from and back) very pronounced - not palpitations, steady beat but never felt like this before (94bpm). Last night it was 103/54...is this a reason to worry? Thank you, Gosia
Thanks for your question on HCM. In my opinion we should first rule out cardiac cause for your low blood pressure and chest discomfort. So better to consult cardiologist and get done ECG and 2D Echo and Blood pressure monitoring. If everything is normal than no need to worry much. Get done thyroid level. As thyroid problems may give similar symptoms. If this is also normal than your symptoms are mostly related to anxiety and stress. So better to avoid tension. Be relax and calm.
