What Causes Loud Ringing In Ears?

About two months ago I saw an ENT about a crackling in my right ear and a feeling of not being able to pop both ears after flying. He said I had swollen adenoids and prescribed nasonex. About three weeks ago I started hearing a loud ringing in my right ear and occasionally feel like I can hear things happening in my head. Help!!

Hi welcome to the health care magic

You are having swollen adenoids in throat..

So you might have secondary cold from swollen Eustachian tube that can lead ringing in ear because of inflammation

You are prescribed steroid for that which will help in relieving inflammation

Complete the course of medication

Steam inhalation done daily for few days

Excess spicy foods avoided

Drink more water and use hot water for drinking

No need for much worry.. If still not improving than detail Otological examination needed

Take care
