What Causes Losing Vision With Grave's Disease?

I was radiated for Grave's Disease and am starting my medication of 250 mcg a day after being off it for about four months. Since Grave's Disease is an autoimmune disease and I no longer have a thyroid, why am I losing my vision, do I still make antibodies that attack my eyes?
