What Causes Light Vaginal Bleeding While On Co-amoxiclav?
Hi I am on Co-amoxiclav as I have pneumonia and I was wondering if it affects my implant I have had white discharge like lotion coming out my vagina and started bleeding very lightly should I take a pregnancy test I ve been on the implant nearly 3 years
I have reviewed your query in detail and here is my advice.
Co-Amoxiclav will not cause spotting/white discharge. Stressful conditions like pneumonia can cause menstrual irregularities. However, it is best to take a home pregnancy test just to be on the safer side and rule out pregnancy. If you notice any vaginal pain, swelling or redness along with the white discharge, vaginal swab microscopy is indicated to rule out vaginal infections.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
