What Causes Light Pink Spotting After Periods?
i am 47 yrs old and my period ended three days ago. but i noticed when i go to the bathroom and wipe its like very light pink blood on the tissue, not very noticable but there. I dont have to wear a pad as nothing comes out unless i pee and wipe. there isnt even any pink color to my urine. What could cause this.

According to your description the possible causes of spotting are:
-Sometimes after completion of the menstrual period after few days minimal spotting can be seen due to the collected blood in the uterus or due to the reproductive hormone fluctuation, which can be age related sometimes.
-Other possible causes are, cervical erosion, polyps,etc.
Usually spotting give to minor physiological causes will subside soon and may not need any treatment. If the sporting persists or recurs in next cycles with more severity, better to get examined once. By clinical examination and by an ultrasound the possible cause of the problem can be identified and treatment can be taken accordingly.
