What Causes Leg Weakness When Diagnosed With Pulmonary Embolism?
7 week ago I had a mini heart attack, a pulmonary embolism with infarction, and a DVT. Today I brought my dog for a walk. My legs began to feel extremely week, my breathing was labored, and I became quite dizzy. What should I do. I am currently on blood thinners.
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
DVT is a seriuos issue. Blood thinners need to be continued for 06 months . you have to do incentive spirometry exercises 100 times daily to improve your lung capacity. PE makes part of your lung nonfunctional hence you have to improve the capacity of the remaining portion.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
