What Causes Left-sided Pain In The Leg And Back After An Injury?
i fell down from staircase around one month ago and now it s still pain. i feel majority pain on my left side lower back pain and left leg. sometimes i feel numbness in the inter-connection between lower back pain and left leg. I can t stand alone on my left leg.
This is very lyndon to be caused be a pinched nerve in the back. This is common, especially after trauma. I think you should see a neurosurgeon. This is mostly not serious and may be helped by physiotherapy and some pain medication. But imaging may be needed to rule out any serious issue especially that you say there is a weakness in the limb as well. Do better to see a neurosurgeon.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Mahboob Ur Rahman, General & Family Physician
