What Causes Lack Of Saliva And Excessive Foamy Saliva?
For the past 6 months, I have been experiencing a lack of saliva and also excessive foamy saliva. I have had extensive blood tests and tested negative for Sjogren s symdrome. My thyroid is not producing enough hormone, but this did not alarm the doctor. I was taking cymbalta and wellbutrin for depression, but have stopped tose meds as of about 6 weeks ago. I am currently on no medication except for prem-pro and aspirin. Any ideas?
Lack of saliva dry mouth can be Bcoz if anxiety/ depression. Wait for total 3 or even 6 mths for the side effects of medications to go. Then treat urself for all this. Thyroid hormone level has to be normalised. Plenty of oral fluids and allay anxiety till then. Try to discontinue aspirin/ Prem pro as well.
