What Causes Itchy Vulva Region With Sudden Weight Loss?
I cannot decide if my symptoms are menopausal and common. Or if I should make an appointment with my MD. 51 years old. For the past month or so I have had iching in the vulva area. No discharge. But abdominal achiness S/ p abdominal hysterectomy, but I still have ovaries. I did not want to go on HRT. I have lost 12 lbs in 6 weeks. ( could be do to diet changes, not sure) and numerous hot flashes mostly during the day

I would recommend an ultrasound examination of your lower abdomen and pelvis to check for the cause of the abdominal pain. A CT abdomen may also be ordered in case the USG does not yield sufficient results.
