What Causes Itching In Clitoris After Periods?

Ok, I'm 19 and have very regular periods. I've noticed each month that after my period, maybe the day before it ends, I get this strange itching/burning sensation around my clitoral/urethral area. I never use tampons, only pads. I also have no discharge or any strange odor. What is this and how can I fix i?

OB & GYN Specialist 's  Response
Hi,

Itching during the end, just before or just after the periods indicates some kind of infection most probably vulvitis or vaginitis. It is mainly due to pads which we are using. Change your pads regularly every 4 hours when you soak your full pad or not. Wash thoroughly after every time you use restroom. Use new breathable undergarments during cycles. If it is not relieving kindly consult a gynecologist nearby.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
