What Causes Itching And Soreness In Clitoris?

Hi, recently I ve noticed my clitoris has been very itchy and sore to touch. Yesterday I took a closer look and realised there is at least one red spot, possibly two on my clitoris which are causing the pain. The itchiness and pain are only on the clitoris, nowhere else in the vagina. Any help is appreciated

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear
I understand your concern
Your symptoms could be due to vaginal infection, contact dermatitis, vaginitis, allergy to cosmetic product.
I would suggest to consult the gynecologist and undergo vaginal examination, swab from the clitoris to confirm the cause.
Doctor will give following advises:
Vaginal suppository of clingen and lactobacillus
Wash vagina with warm salted water and then apply apple cidar vinegar
Apply vagisil cream
Wear pure cotton loose inner
Maintain proper pelvic hygiene
Drink plenty of water and eat healthy diet.
Hope this may help you

Best regards
Dr. Sagar
