What Causes Irritation In Throat While Eating?

Hi,

I feel irritation in the lower part of my throat as if there is something there. I am coughing hard and often because of the above. I am also having fever. I have difficulty swallowing food and the cough just after I have food makes me vomit out water that I drink after having my food. Also I am not feeling like eating anything. Please advice.

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi, thanks for your query. In my opinion, you might be having reflux disease.
If I were your treating doctor, I would have prescribed proton pump inhibitors with prokinetcs drug for 6 to 8 were.
Avoid oily and spicy foods.
If symptoms persists, please consult doctor and get an endoscopy done to rule out any lesion.
Hope my answers have helped you. Thanks.
