In April I had the stomach bug and for some unknown reason my period came a week and a half early on the 9th and coincided with it. In May I got my period on the 17th, closer to the normal date of around the 20th. However since then I ve been crampy bloated irritable and tired. Could this be due to the irregular periods? I took two pregnancy tests before my period in May and they were negative.

Hi,
1. Average menstrual cycle in any women is around 28-40 days. It can come 4 days prior to the date you are expecting if your cycle length is 28 days.
2. If always this sort of thing is happening like sometimes a week earlier or sometime missing period for a month then you need to visit your gynecologist.
After doing your ultrasound scans of pelvis only we can tell what is actually happening inside your body.
3. Stress can also be the cause of your irregular periods so make sure to be free of any kind of stress-related issue.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
