Hi,

Stress can cause temporary delay /prelims periods but when it goes on for 3 months. It's due to hormonal imbalance (pcod, ovarian or thyroid problems).¬ mere stress.

It needs to be diagnosed &specifically treated. You need investigations like us scan of the pelvis , thyroid function test, a hormonal assay for ovarian function.

Pinpointing of the cause would facilitate further management.under gynecologist/endocrinologist care.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
