What Causes Irregular Periods After Having Miscarriage?
Hello Dr, Good Morning. We are married couples. My wife got pregnant and miscarriaged on May 29-2014 after two months of her last period. After that she got her periods on July 26-2014. We did hemoglobin Test and Thyroid Test as prescribed and the resultes are normal. She did not have irregular period before. Is it normal that it took 60 days after her miscarriage?. Will this affect her pregnancy in future? Thanks, VIgnesh

after a miscarriage it could take up to 8 weeks before her periods start again as normal. so it sounds like what happened to your wife was normal. if the periods continue to be abnormal after around 3 months, she should see her doctor, as there are many things that can cause this problem. however, it sounds like your wife should not have a problem getting pregnant again.
