What Causes Irregular Menstrual Cycle In A 40 Year Old?
For the last several years my periods have been about 3 days lately it will start and stop through out the 3 days. Or I bleed heavy for a day and have pink spotting the other two sometimes 3 days. Even though it is 3 days every month is different during those days. Iam 40 and this month I feel like it is late

There are other factors that could be causing such a presentation like weight gain, weight loss, stress, various medications, medical conditions like polycystic ovaries, etc.
I would thus recommend a visit to your doctor along with a check on hormone levels, and an ultrasound of your lower abdomen and pelvis at the least.
