What Causes Irregular Contractions In Pregnancy After Having Sex?
I am 28 weeks pregnant, and earlier today while having sex i felt a small gush of fluid, and then once again after my husband pulled out. Since then ive been getting irregular contractions, much stronger than braxton hicks. Also ive been feeling achy as though im abouut to start my period. This is my third pregnancy and ive never experienced a gush of clear fluid this early before. The fluid looked, smelled, and felt like amniotic fluid, im wondering if this could have been my water or just a female orgasm? - Although ive never had this happen during an orgasm before.

I understand your concern.By your history it looks like gush of fluid is most probably amniotic fluid.As you are getting irregular contractions,you may be having the onset of preterm labour.
So,i would suggest you to consult your gynecologist as soon as possible and undergo physical examination for confirmation.
