What Causes Irregular And Fluttering Heart Beats?
I am a 62 year old female. Last year during a visit to my cardiologist my doc discovered a bruit in my neck artery which resulted in an ultrasound that day and a heart cath the next day. I had 99% blockage in my LAD and 80-90 in my neck. Next day I had neck surgery...waited 2 days and had open heart. I am having irregular heart beats this week. Early am my heart has a very heavy fluttery type beat .. say 1 time per minute. Subsides somewhat during the day. Any worry? Also what is my prognosis after heart surgery?
