Hi,

Noted your short history of intermittent vibrations in ear like air passing through, annoying itching that eases with vigorous rubbing.
As per the history you have provided this is called Eustachian Tube dysfunction wherein the tube get widely opened up to cause easy entry into the middle ear cavity causing the symptoms that you have.
To know the cause or any other finding consult your ENT Surgeon so that a proper clinical evaluation can help to have proper management.
Till then follow these steps.
Nasal topical decongestant drops.
Steam inhalation.
Anti-inflammatory like Ibuprofen if it suits you.
Do not blow nose at all.
Take rest in warm room.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. T. Chandrakant, ENT and General Surgeon
