Hello,

There are a few causes that might be considered for the arm pain you are experiencing.

If it is throbbing pain and it causes also some numbness or strange sensation in the arm or hand very likely it is a nerve pain.

This can happen if the nerve is pinched at the level where it comes out at the neck or on its way to the periphery.

If the pain is not associated with numbness or strange sensation in the arm or hand and if you are able to locate the painful area by touch (it gets affected by touch) very likely it is a muscular pain from a possible muscular strain.

In this case, Ibuprofen after food 3-4 times a day for a few days should help you feel better.

If no improvement or any worsening or any other symptoms present (numbness or strange sensation or other) please see your doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
