What Causes Inter Menstrual Vaginal Spotting?

I had my period at the beginning of the month. Lasted two days. About two weeks later I spotted very lightly for two days and stopped. Five days later I spotted once and it contained tiny blood clots and some discharge. Three days later I m spotting again. What s going on?

Hi I think you should consult a gynecologist for complete examination. Get a pelvic examination done by a gynecologist to rule out any cervical pathology or infections. You may need some antibiotic and antifungal drugs orally as well as vaginal to treat that. Also get a thyroid profile and prolactin level and a ultrasound done to see uterus and ovaries to find out the cause of irregular periods. Hope it helps.
