Hi,
In the current scenario, it appears as though you have some hormone imbalance. If you are sexually active, pregnancy needs to be excluded through an assessment of the serum beta-hCG titres as HPTs may not add much value. A trans-vaginal sonogram also is needed to help sort out the issue. If pregnancy is negative, a local examination and hormone profiles, blood counts and urinalysis are done. Causes include local lesions, infections, weight disturbances, stress, use of certain medications etc. Hope this helps.
