HI Dr. Rynne, I am a 65 year old female who has trouble sleeping sometimes. Anyway, I have heartburn if I eat too close to bedtime. I could t sleep for hours, so had a small bowl of cereal with coconut milk, thinking that would help, & went back to bed. Instead, I got another bout of heartburn, so chewed a Tums-like product. All of a sudden, I began to salivate like never before......to the point where I hadn t realized how much the body had available!! I was a tiny bit nauseated too, so got up. It is 2:30ish & I have yet to sleep. Can you tell me what you think caused the enormous bout of salivation? Gerry
