What Causes Inflamed And Watery Eyes That Hurts On Blinking?

Hi, my left eye is inflamed and watery and it hurts when I blink and at first it hurt when I close it. I wear contacts, of course I removed it when this started. But it is very painful. It is early here so there isn't much I can do beffore the doctor opens is there?

It is due to contact lense causing dry eye. Remove contact lens and use specs for few days. Apply artificial tear drop like refresh tear for 5days Inone week it will be alright.
