What Causes Infection On Foreskin Of Penis?

My husband say he got an infection on the foreskin of his penis, that makes it hard to retract the skin to urinate or have sex. The foreskin bleeds spotty and is white and looks cracked, someone to him to use metrogyl V-gel on the area. He says he's feeling a little better. Ny question is how can he get an infection on the foreskin? Can it be from the extremely hot weather we're having, his sweat or a sexually transmitted infection?

Infection of the foreskin with inability to retract it is mainly due to Fungal Infection (Genital Candidiasis).

This is commonly seen in individuals with uncontrolled diabetes .

Please his blood sugar levels test on empty stomach and 2 hours after lunch done to rule out diabetes .

Ask him to take anti fungal medication Flucanazole twice daily along with anti fungal cream Candid for local application .

Ensure to wash your genitals with warm water twice daily

This should get cured within a week.
