Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Hotness, Tremors, Heart Palpitation And Headache?
I am suddenly bright red and hot all over my body, with a mild headache and the shakes and am at a heart rate of about 105 beats per minute lying down in an air conditioned room. This came over me quickly in the past few minutes. Could this be an allergic reaction to something? I just ate about half an hour ago and also had a Bloody Mary. Have not been out in the sun. I m very unconfortable and this is giving me extreme anxiety.
Since all your symptoms started after the food and the drink, you likely having a allergic reaction to the food/drink. Your fastest remedy if you have no clinic or pharmacy nearby will be to get hold of a antihistamines used for flu or a cough syrup which contains antihistamines. But it is always advisable for you to visit the nearest clinic and consult with a physician. If you have the same problem without any food intake or suddenly : I would suggest a TSH(to check your thyroid levels) and ECG(to check if there is abnormal electrical activity of your heart)
