What Causes High Blood Pressure And Elbow Pain?

concerned 39 year old son had widow maker heart attack in nov 09 with severve elbow pain as a symptom... has been monitered and on many meds ... last week diagnosed with blood clot in /near heart on cumindin and warfarin... just called me with the painful elbows again bp is 135 /112... had him put a nitro pill under tongue,,, 10 minutes ago ,... pain in elbows gone... time to worry/ go to hospital?

Well come to HCM
I think the best way to rule out the possibility of ischemia, is EKG test because the pain of elbow may not be due to cardiac disease but could be due arthritis changes, better to get done the EKG and even much better would be coronary angioplasty, hope this information helps, take care.
