What Causes Heavy Vaginal Bleeding And Fatigue Post Hysterectomy For Fibroids?
I just underwent total laparascopic hysterectomy on 5/18/15 at 7:30am due to fibroids, heavy bleeding and pain that left me so fatigued every month - by the way I m 44 years young and have 2 children a 20 year old daughter and a soon to be 15 year old son. After surgery on 5/18/15 I was dis charged to go home around 4pm, although the pain medication had not worn out and there was no clear indicator that I could pass urine...so I was not allowed an overnight stay. 2 days ago I began feeling serious pain and a gush of bright red blood every hour. This.pain and loss of bright red blood is.still occurring and it s getting worse. ..I m so scared that I might have a torn vaginal cuff but even.more.frighten regarding the poor treatment that I might receive. Please advise.
spotting continuing for over six weeks. distinct vaginal bleeding (not spotting or discharge) immediately after a hysterectomy operation. sudden bleeding occurring within a few days or weeks after surgery. Along with vaginal bleeding other symptoms such as abdominal or vaginal pain, vaginal discharge or fainting may be present. This requires medical intervention and you should consult with your doctor immediately!
Wishing you safe recovery and good health!
