Such heavy bleeding commonly occurs due to hormonal imbalance, bleeding disorders, tumours in the uterus, infection of the uterus anaemia, etc. .
Infection and tumours in the uterus will cause pain during menstruation and also will cause intermenstrual bleeding. Since neither of the symptom is present, these causes can safely be excluded.
You are on Vit. K; why? Are you already having bleeding problem? Then it could be the reason for such heavy bleeding. Please get your complete coagulation profile studied. Also you are on treatment for anaemia. You are taking iron. You should add high protein diet to that.
Some progestational preparation during last week of menstruation may help reduce the amount of bleeding.
Please report to your Gynaecologist.
