hi, my boyfriend and I have been trying to have a baby. we had unprotected sex every day while I was fertile/ovulating. my period was two days early, it was medium/heavy but only lasted a day. then two days later my boyfriend and I had sex and I bleed a lot afterwards.. what does this mean?
Hello dear Understand your concern I think following possibility for heavy bleeding after sex. Mechanical trauma: Rough sex injured the venous plexus of vagina and cervix. Should be diagnosed by vaginal examination. Vaginal infections like bacterial vaginosis and chlamydia : should be confirmed by vaginal swab test and urine test. Require specific antibiotic and proper pelvic hygiene before and after sex. Cervix and endometrial dysplasia should be rule out by PAP smear and endometrial biopsy. Vaginal and cervix poly: should be diagnosed by vaginal examination and USG scan. Ovarian cyst and fibroid should be rule out by UGS scan. Repoert your problem to gynecologist and take proper treatment after investigations. Hope this may help you
