welcome to hcm, there are many causes for palpitation 1. thyroid over activity 2.over exertion and stress 3.medications especially thyroid medications and asthma medications 4.heart diseases 1.ventricular tachycardia 2.supraventricular tachycardia 3. atrial fibrillation so you have to be evaluated for these things like thyroid function test, 24-48 hours ecg monitoring or holters monitoring. ECG. kindly review with these results for knowing the actual cause of palpitation hope this explains with regards Dr.Amarnath
