What Causes Heart Palpitations, Dizziness And Tremor?

this morning i was sitting on the floor putting m son in his car seat and all of a sudden my heart starting beating extremely fast. i began to feel dizzy and shakey and this continued for a good 10 minutes. What is the cause of this and what can i do to stop it

I would explain that your symptoms could be related to cardiac arrhythmia.

For this reason, I would recommend consulting with your attending physician for a physical exam and some tests:
- a resting ECG and a cardiac ultrasound
- blood electrolytes for any possible imbalances
- complete blood count for anemia
- thyroid hormone levels for thyroid gland dysfunction.

An ambulatory 24-48 hours ECG monitoring would help investigate for possible cardiac arrhythmia.
