What Causes Heart Palpitations, SOB And Cold During Pregnancy?
Hi, I am 37 years old and 6 months pregnant. I have been fighting a cold and noticed in the last several days that I have been having a lot of heart palpitations. If it happens while I am talking, my voice cracks. Or I feel like I am short of breath or need to cough. I read that heart palpitations in pregnancy are normal, but this feels weird and is annoying. Should I have it checked out?

You can get it checked out, although I do not see any cause for concern here. A cardiac profile during pregnancy does help, and should be conducted as routine (especially in women who have an underlying cardiac condition or a history of cardiac diseases in the family).
