Im having heart pain that feels like a needle pocking me, it comes and goes but lately its been happening more frequently, should I be worried? My dad has the same thing but we have never been to the doctor since it just comes and goes. What should we do?
hi usually pain of cardiac origin is dull aching in nature it is often termed as heaviness in chest a needle like pocking sensation is very unlikely to be of cardiac origin but the golden rule of medicine is that there is no rule you have not mentioned your age you smoking habbits any ailments
a pain in area of chest can also be caused due to muscular sprain, gastritis, heart burn, acid peptic disorders, and some lung problems also
cardiac origin pain is often associated with breathlesness on walking or climbing upstairs pain starts in the chest and migrates to hands upper part of abdomen and towards back
as of now according to details given by you its pointing more towards a muscular pain thanks
