What Causes Headaches Followed By Fatigue?

hello, I seem to be getting frequent headaches followed by constant fatigue. I m 47 years of age and overweight (250 lbs, 5 10 tall). I believe this could be a blood pressure issue since I was on Lasortan for high blood pressue 150/90. These chronic headaches and constant fatigue seems to be getting worse, is this something that can be remedies with diet and excersize?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

It might be due to hypertension. Go for advanced tests for high bp. Ecg, echo, usg-kub, lipid profile, thyroid profile and renal doppler. Get your blood sugar checked. HTN and diabetes are coupled with obese. Fatigue is the hallmark of DM.

Weight reduction and increased physical activity are highly recommended.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. AJEET SINGH, General & Family Physician
