What Causes Headaches And Chest Pain After Total Thyroidectomy?

I ve had a total thyroidectomy done last Oct but I m still having lots of symptoms across the board...24/7 head pressure, severe headaches, hot flashes, chest pain and high heart rate. I ve had an MRI of head and cervical areas and CT of the head - all normal. Any thoughts as to what could be causing all these symptoms?

Hello,

I will advice you to get your serum calcium levels and hormonal profile checked. You can meet an endocrinologist for the same. Imbalances in the hormonal profile and calcium can lead to such symptoms.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Deepak Sundriyal, Oncologist
