General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

It is possible that you may have a viral illness, this is one of the most common causes of gastritis. Viral infections may be associated with headaches and other areas of pain but if it is severe or worsening, you should be reassessed.
Bacterial infections can also occur but this is not as likely.

Treatment would involve: (a) holding off solid food till there is a 4 hour window of no symptoms
(b)can use anti nausea meds such as pepto bismol or dramamine
(c) paracetamol
(d)replace fluids loss by oral rehydration products or sports drinks

I hope this helps
