Hi thanks for asking question. You mostly have no organic cause for headache. Get your blood pressure measured as hypertension can lead to headache. Rule out cardiac problem by ECG and hyperthyroidism by thyroid profile if suspected. Noted you have headache since long time. If it is severe and precipitated by loud noise and comes on and off then migraine could be the cause. Avoid aggravating factors for headache like.... Stress Smoking Sleep irregularity Hypoglycemia and skipped meal Noisy environment Bright light.etc... Meditation , yoga useful. You also have to rule out labyrinthitis like ear condition if present as it can lead headache and dizziness. Take care. Dr.Parth Goswami
