What Causes Hard Stomach And Back Pain During Pregnancy?

I am 33 weeks pregnant with twins. The past few weeks I have experienced cramps and back pain and hard belly but never at the same time. All day yesterday my stomach was hard; it still is now. All night I have been cramping, and have terrible back pain and my belly is hard as a rock. Am I in labor?

Hello dear,I understand your concern. In my opinion hard stomach with back pain might be evaluated for preterm labour pains.Preterm pains are caused by urine infections ,dehydration or any other infections. So I suggest you to consult doctor and get the investigations done to rule out any infections and preterm pains.Drink adequate fluids upto 2-3 litres to prevent urinary infections as they are routinely seen in pregnancy.
