What Causes Gel Filled Like Lump In My Daughters Eye?
Hi, my 17 year old daughter (contact wearer) has just come to me complaining that it feels like she has a gel filled lump in her eye. It is to the side of the iris and is visibly different to her other eye. The eye is also blood shot around that area. Pleas can you advise?

It appears to be chemosis of conjunctiva I.e. oedema of conjunctiva.
One should use anti histaminic tabs for a few days. It will be alright.
No hot compress.
Otherwise have a consultation.
