What Causes Gastritis And Diverticulosis?

I had a Colonoscopy and EGD today and the diagnosis was I gastritis, reflux Esophagitis and diverticulosis so would severe stress at work be something that could be doing all these? One reason I had these test done was because I was having between 10 to 20 bowel movements a day, sometimes waking up with blood in my mouth and my hair was falling out by the handfuls and all my blood test didn't seem to show anything. I had gastric bypass in Dec 2003 and on May 7, 2014 they did a procedure to fix something called Space Peterson and after that everything went down hill when the company I was working for sold out to a company that has basically done nothing but broke every promise they made to use during the sell out and from their my stress levels went out the roof.

Hi,Dear,Thanks for your query to HCM.
Dear I read facts of your query and reviewed it in context to your query health issues.
I understood your health concerns and feel Concerned about them.

Based on the facts of your query the reply of your query is-
YOur current health issues seem to be related to your known diverticulosis, malabsorption syndrome with it,and with Peterson's space hernia correction in 2014.
You need to recheck with the GI Surgeon or have Second opinion from another GI Surgeon, to assess if these conditions are the cause of GERD and hail loss and run down health.

Do's Suggested-
Recheck with the GI Surgeon who operated for Peterson's space hernia.
Your GI Surgeon- doctor would be doing all that is needed to treat your current gastritis with esophagitis.
At the most You can think of Second opinion of another GI Surgeon to check if you are being treated on right lines.

Correct remedy would be-
Correction of the health issues with diverticulosis/ and the 2014 Peterson's space hernia correction and malabsorption with it,as you are suffering from severe GERD with reflux spasm .
The disturbed bowels with accompanied Diverticulosis after this procedure, which lead to malabsorption syndrome, is the main cause of this Gastritis with increased bowel frequency and accompanied hair loss.
Timely antibiotics with Metrogyl treatment
with PPI-like pentaprazole with
Vit B12 and folic acid supplements would resolve the issues soon.
Constant followup with local family or specialist Physician-for long term would give you long remissions in time to come, which would depend on meticulous followup treatment of your health concerns.

Just don't worry and be patient and co-operate with your doctors, till you verify with your attending doctors.Need to Check with Consulting GI Surgeon- if need be, if things don't recover.

For early recovery-please follow above do's which would resolve your complex health issues.

Hope this would help you to treat your health issues in the best way possible.
