Hi i am a 23 year old man who suffers from panic attacks, ive been to the hospital and had EKGS done, think i was having an heart attack, they did my blood and my blood pressure was abit high, they said this was due to the stress brought on by the panic attack. I still feel these feeling every so often usually lasting a couple of days. I was just wondering if they missed something and i do have problems?
Etiology of panic disorder is not very clear but is thougjt to be due to disturbance in autonomic nervous system. Other features like feeling of impending death due to anxiety and fear of this present all the time that this can occur at any time. These features could possibily present in panic disorder. But first of all , any possibilty of heart disorder should be ruled out
