What Causes Frequent Cold Followed By Headaches?

i am 40 years old, about 170 cms and 67 kilograms of weight, my BP and sugar levels are normal but i am a victim of frequent cold followed by severe headache which lasts for 2 to 3 days mostly late evenings or early mornings. I normally take an asprin for these headaches. I am not sure why this occur so frequently, how can i avoid it please suggest.

Hi,thank you for posting your query on health care magic.

Looking at your symptoms,you might be suffering repeated cold due to Allergy.Cold leads to Inflammation in the nose which obstructs the sinus passage leading to headache.

I would advise you to have an Allergy test.It would help to find out that to which substances you are Allergic,so that you can avoid those substances(like certain foods,dust,pollens,etc).

Also avoid dust,cold food.Drink lots of warm fluids.Do steam inhalation.

You may find relief by taking Antihistaminic like Cetrizine,Analgesic and Antiinflammatory like Ibuprofen,Saline nasal spray,O oral decongestant like Phenylephrine and Nasal decongestant drops like Xylometazoline.
