What Causes Frequent Bowel Movement And Diarrhea While On Advent Forte?

My 4 yr old son has been taking Advent forte for Tonsilitis infection. However, he has been passing watery stools very frequently.I have given Enterogermina in order to restrict that as per doctor s advice? Is it enough or do I need to consult an ENT doctor seeking further advice - the doctor suggested to continue the medicine for 10 days. What should I do?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, tonsillitis is a disease known to be very common to recurr. he is having diarrhoea that may be due to antibiotics or concurrent intestinal infection. Enterogermina will prevent antibiotic related diarrhoea. You should continue treatment as per prescribed along with betadine gargle (will locally treat infection) and cetriz. If not recovered in 7 days you can go to another doctor.
