Hi, I'm 23years old. I have been going to my G.P for 12 months with irregular periods. I can offen have 6-8 episodes of bleeding in one month. The severity can range from light to extremely heavy. I have always been dismissed, however for the last 2 months I have been experiencing extremely severe pelvic pain after intercourse ( can last upto 2 days) however this doesnt happen all the time, plus I have abnormal disharge, with an unpleasant odour?? I have an appiontment with a consultant in 4 days, I am worried something may be missed as for the last year I have been made to feel like a hypochondriac, should I request a smear if one is not offered or does this sound like something else??? please reply! I have been worrying for months! Thank you
