What Causes Forehead Pain While Treating Tension Headache?

Hey. I have been having headaches for a month now, one where it felt like there was a lot of alternating pressure on different points of my head. I went to an osteotherapist recently and she found that i had a very tight muscle in my neck that could have most likely caused the headaches. I was given some exercises to stretch my neck and also began seeing an acupuncturist on the side. Overall id say my head feels better, less pressure than before. But ive started feeling some aches on my forehead and also mild sharp pain. Would that be normal considering the circumstances? Im prone to panic attacks and worry easily. ive also had a tingling sensation in my neck and back

Hello,

You are suffering from headaches, you also have tingling sensation in your neck and back. Forehead pain commonly occurs due to infection (sinus infection), hormonal changes, eye strain (take rest between work), quitting caffeine, alcohol, etc can also cause forehead pain. Stay away from anxiety and stress( physical or emotional). Stay relaxed take adequate water to keep yourself hydrated.

Do not skip meals, take food in time so that your vitals are normal. Maintain healthy weight. Tingling in the neck can be due to pinched nerve, cervical spondylitis, injured nerve in the neck, migraine, arthritis and degenerative diseases, mineral and vitamin deficiency, etc. Physical therapy, massage and taking supplements may be helpful.

Tingling sensation in the back can be due to spinal infection, fibromyalgia, neuropathy, shingles, etc. You are suggested to get clinically examined by a physician and get required blood tests, investigations (nerve velocity conduction studies, X-ray, CT, MRI, etc., done). You will be accordingly treated. Stay away from addictions if any.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
