What Causes Stiffness In The Neck Along With Backache And Headache?

Hello...I have been having several symptoms for the past 3 weeks...stiff neck, sore tight muscles in my back, tension headache, a feeling of throat tightness (small feeling, but still there), weakness and numbness on my right side of body. I have an appointment with a neurologist in 4 weeks, but am thinking that is waiting too long? My numbness has pretty much all sibsided and I am dealing with more so my tension headache. The tension headache makes me feel nauseous at times and sometimes dizzy. Any thoughts?

Hi,

Maybe that you first find out what sitting posture you have, differential diagnosis are many including cervical spondylosis.

You have not mentioned your age, past history of smoking, previous heart problems.

Again, the headache you have may be a cluster or a migraine.

It is necessary for you to have a neck X-ray.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
