What Causes Fluttering Sensation In The Chest With Benign Hypotension?

I am 48 years old, and although obese I have now lost 11 pounds since April 8th. I was recently put on 5mg Lisinopril for Benign Hypotension. I have been having a fluttering sensation in my chest, but every time I check my BP it is normal with a normal pulse. Should I be concerned?

Hi welcome to hcm
I understand your query and concern.
Your symptoms are suggestive of any arrhythmias of heart.I advise you to get an ECG,2 D Echo ,lipid profile of your heart immediately to confirm the diagnosis.I advise you to monitor your blood pressure and heart rate immediately.Drugs like Amiodarone, betaloc will be helpful in your case.Avoid stress and anxiety.Avoid smoking and alcohol.Meditation, yoga, breathing exercises.Continue your blood pressure medication if still there is hypotension, you should lower your lisinopril dosage to 25 mg by consulting your cardiologist.I advise you to get an EP study once arrhythmia detected.Consult your cardiologist for exert management.
Post your further queries if any,
Thank you.
